Understanding the Land and Water Conservation Fund and the Opportunities it Presents

The Great American Outdoors Act became law on August 4, 2020. Part of this law fully funds the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) at its authorized annual amount of $900 million. The two programs under the LWCF, the State and Local Assistance Formula Grants and the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program (ORLP) grants, are potential avenues for project work for Corps. Our guests will discuss the LWCF and give us insight on how it operates.
